WHY WARM WATER WORKS

The power of water

Buoyancy takes up to 90 percent of body weight off the joints

Weightlessness relieves pressure on the joints and lets affected limbs move freely during the healing process, preventing further muscle atrophy.

92-94 degree water dilates blood vessels and increases circulation

Warm water exercise maximizes post-surgical recovery

Swimming relaxes, stimulates the immune system, and it's FUN

IT STARTED WITH SAMANTHA

The surgeon said she might never walk again

Holli adopted her yellow lab Samantha at 5 months old. At 3, Samantha had a stroke in her spine, and the surgeon said there was a strong possibility she would never walk again. After several weeks of twice-weekly swims, she was once again able to walk. After experiencing the power of water therapy, Holli built her own pool to rehab her own dog - then completed certification with the Association of Canine Water Therapy, Canine CPR and First Aid training, and became an active member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork.
